At Aditya Birla Minacs, Amit led the Procurement Outsourcing practice. He immensely enjoyed leading spend management and data harmonization programs for global customers. Amit also provided solution management oversight to our F&A business, especially melding P2P integration support for clients outsourcing F&A back office functions.
He has over 16 years of Procurement Supply Chain Consulting, Global Sourcing, Category Management, Shared Services, Outsourcing and Procurement Technology Design experience across a range of industries. Prior to joining Aditya Birla Minacs, Amit spent five years with Infosys, where he single-handedly conceptualized and established the Global Procurement Outsourcing business. Amit played a variety of roles including consulting, outsourcing advisory, solution design, transitions, client management and global operations. At Infosys, Amit led multiple Source to Pay innovation initiatives delivering greater efficiency, proved spend visibility, enhanced effectiveness and compliance for Infosys’s global customers, including the world’s largest oil and gas company, global commodity producer, a leading Anglo-Australian mining company and a top 10 US bank. Prior to joining Infosys, Amit spent 10+ years with Bechtel Corporation in North America, India and Trinidad. At Bechtel, Amit played a variety of roles ranging from Spend Management, Global Sourcing, Project Procurement, Material Management, Procurement Systems Design, Engineering Integration and Implementation, and was instrumental in establishing its captive procurement operations in Gurgaon, India.
Amit holds an MBA degree from IMI, New Delhi, and is a results focused leader with an emphasis on people and client values.
